Happy Halloween to you all! Halloween customs originated from Celtic Harvest Festival. People in the United States and other countries celebrate Halloween on 31st October the eve before the Christian sacred days of All Hallows’ Day and Reformation Day of Western Christian. The Halloween is also known as All Hallows’ Eve, Allhalloween, or All Saints’ Eve. The Halloween means the evening before All Hallows’ Day. The Allhallowtide is a three-day ceremony, and the day is dedicated to remembering the dead, including martyrs, saints and all those close ones departed.

Halloween started as a celebration of Samhain. The ancient Celtic belief in Britain and other areas of Europe use to celebrate this festival. These ancient Celts used to believe that in the month of October the day before November 1st, the wall between the human world and the ghosts world or spirit world get really thin. Gradually, the event of Samhain was Christianized as Halloween. However, some reports show that the Halloween has started independently as a Christian holiday.
