Skull Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to you all! Halloween customs originated from Celtic Harvest Festival. People in the United States and other countries celebrate Halloween on 31st October the eve before the Christian sacred days of All Hallows’ Day and Reformation Day of Western Christian. The Halloween is also known as All Hallows’ Eve, Allhalloween, or All Saints’ Eve. The Halloween means the evening before All Hallows’ Day. The Allhallowtide is a three-day ceremony, and the day is dedicated to remembering the dead, including martyrs, saints and all those close ones departed.

Halloween started as a celebration of Samhain. The ancient Celtic belief in Britain and other areas of Europe use to celebrate this festival. These ancient Celts used to believe that in the month of October the day before November 1st, the wall between the human world and the ghosts world or spirit world get really thin. Gradually, the event of Samhain was Christianized as Halloween. However, some reports show that the Halloween has started independently as a Christian holiday.

Halloween, initiated by the pre-Christian community, and they celebrated the Celtic festival of Samhain that was celebrated on 31st October, and these Celts lived over 2,000 years ago in the regions, now it is known as the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Northern France. They believed that on this Samhain day the dead people return to the earth. On Halloween day some Christians will not eat meat, and they also avoid eating certain foods on this day, including potato pancakes, apples, and soul cakes.

Halloween is a festival of fun for kids as it includes activities like trick-or-treating, Halloween costume parties, lighting bonfires, carving pumpkins and making jack-o’-lanterns, playing pranks, divination games, apple bobbing, telling scary stories, visiting haunted attractions, and watching horror movies. In various parts of the globe, the Christians observance of All Hallows’ Eve includes attending services at the church and visiting the graves of the dead and lighting candles; it is continuing still but, in some places, the festival has become more secular and commercial. Halloween has become the favorite festival among young as well as old people. Enjoy Halloween every year on Octobers 31st.
